Santa has been spotted running on the beach in Grand Bend. The only working he’s been doing lately is working on his tan. If this is what Santa looks like without his red suit, where’s Mrs. Clause? Good for you Santa!

Another Scotland Post. St. Gilles Cathedral is in Edinburgh and is a must see for any denomination. One photo doesn’t do it justice.

My experience of Scotland must be entirely jaded…

I was extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to relax in the realm of the Royals.

Our hosts, who shall remain nameless, were the perfect hosts once again.

Exquisite dining, drinks, company, ……….

A private golf course on the castle grounds (on its doorstep actually), clay and grass tennis courts, beautiful vistas, gardens, pool, history…

Originally built in the 15th century this castle is older than most of the popular places we visited in our travels.

The photo below shows the castle from its east. Myself and family are positioned on the upper right balcony and our host is below left.

I drove up to the highlands with my son. We were the only ones willing to make the early morning trek. The weather was absolutely incredible. The weather forecasts all predicted rain…as usual. The skies had just enough clouds to make the photos interesting. The panoramas were taken of Loch Ness from Urquhart Castle circa 500 AD. The “Jewel of Loch Ness” is my favourite Scottish castle by far…We spent the early morning taking in the views from Urquart’s grounds and then drove around the entire loch and went into the beautiful city of Inverness.
